Sean Minor

Sean Minor founded Sean Minor Wines and Four Bears Winery in 2005 with a passion for producing wines of exceptional varietal characteristics and expressive terroir distinctiveness.  As avid wine drinkers, Sean and his wife, Nicole, found frustrating the necessity to spend over $30 a bottle for wines offering consistent quality and varietal correctness.  Finding wines that were Monday through Thursday on their pocket book but good enough to serve to family and friends on the week-end became their goal.  This goal led to the decision to use Sean’s industry experience to produce their own wines that exceeded a quality to price ratio, as well as to meet the increasing demand from consumers to provide a “bigger bang for the buck.”

A veteran of the wine industry with more than 22 years experience, Sean Minor’s fine wine career began with Beaulieu Vineyard (BV) in Napa Valley before taking an opportunity to manage Oregon’s King Estate Winery, and later accepting an appointment as President of Benton-Lane Winery.  He returned to California to manage Renwood Winery before he and his wife Nicole decided to start their own wine company.
